
BIOGRAPHY
Abdulrehman Ahmed, Esq., joined Ibrahim A. Law Group P.C., after serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Gilson, J.A.D., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, where he reviewed and analyzed complex family law, civil litigation, criminal, and administrative agency appeals.
Prior to attending Rutgers Law School, Mr. Ahmed earned his B.S. and M.S. degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, graduating cum laude with honors in civil engineering. Subsequently, he spent more than two years as a civil engineer for a construction management firm. Due to his extensive background in engineering, he has been a valued asset to the firm with respect to construction litigation cases.
Mr. Ahmed was also a finalist in the Nathan Baker Mock Trial Competition. During law school, he served as a clinical student attorney at the Rutgers Law Community and Transactional Lawyering Clinic, providing corporate and transactional legal assistance to non-profit organizations and small start-up businesses.
Mr. Ahmed has previously interned at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General – Consumer Fraud Prosecution Division, assisting with investigations, research, document review, discovery, and pleadings primarily with regard to matters under the Consumer Fraud Act. He has also worked at Kates, Nussman, Ellis, Farhi, and Earle where he assisted with various stages of litigation including drafting pleadings, briefs, discovery requests and motions.
Mr. Ahmed is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, and Middlesex County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey.
